The Maharashtra Cabinet has officially sanctioned the Phase 2 expansion of the Pune Metro. This ambitious project aims to connect the rapidly growing IT hubs of Hadapsar and Kharadi with the rest of the city.
The new lines are expected to significantly reduce travel time and congestion along the busy Solapur Road and Ahmednagar Road corridors. Work is slated to begin shortly with multi-modal transport hubs planned at key junctions.
